Fight or Flight

Everyone, meet First.  First, meet everyone.

So, we’ve had a bit of tragedy here at Crampton Corners. (A bit?  Isn’t tragedy a word that can’t be had in small increments like bits?)  We lost the baby on Monday.  My wife and I are going through our own grieving processes, and we’ve had a religious observance… a memorial service, of sorts… for the baby.  She’s called it Jane, as Firefly has told us, Jane is also a boy’s name.

I’m not really sure what to say after that.  I hope that you’re getting into the story as it unfolds, and I hope that you love the artwork as much as I do.
